Gin Weathers has a multi-leveled background in business, arts and culture. She was a specialist on building coalitions to support legislative issues for a major trade association in Washington D.C. and was also involved in the White House Conference for Children and Youth. Her education includes both B.S. and M.Ed degrees, and postgraduate work in journalism, real estate and communications. Weathers is a former trustee for the Monterey Museum of Art and Carmel’s PacRep Theater, and now serves on the board of directors for American Cancer Society and Carmel Chamber of Commerce. She has been a consultant for business development, marketing and community relations. Her background in real estate includes the development and marketing of premier high-rise office buildings in Southern California, and consulting in government relations and public art programs. She has been helping sellers and buyers on the Monterey Peninsula for nearly a decade as a licensed Real Estate Agent.
Charlotte Gannaway is a partner with the Weathers Real Estate Group. Charlotte entered real estate with 17 years’ experience in retail management in Arizona and California. She was Manager of Selling/Service and Training for Saks Fifth Avenue in Carmel before earning her real estate license. Charlotte spent much of her retail career defining service standards of excellence and redefining programs to be client centered. In Carmel, while studying the area’s historical legacy, Charlotte developed a passion for local architecture and heritage sites. Charlotte brings her extensive knowledge of real estate inventory to the team, and carries forward her ethos for client centered excellence.
Anita Cowen's long sales and marketing career in luxury hotels and resorts serves her well in the Monterey real estate market. Her ability to connect with clients, understand their needs, and successfully negotiate on their behalf results in great experiences. Anita's hospitality career included negotiating long-term suite leases with White House appointees, contracting multi-year agreements with Fortune 500 companies, and exceeding the expectations of celebrities and heads of state. Her career took her to Scottsdale, Washington, DC and Palo Alto before returning to Carmel. Anita welcomed an adorable Cavalier King Charles into her home a couple of years ago and the little guy loves taking her to Garland Ranch and Carmel Beach for frequent outings.
